Why is it dangerous to spill car battery acid onto the metal frame of a car?

I have just completed a chemistry lab where I observed that zinc reacts with hydrochloric acid, while copper does not. I have to answer why it is dangerous to spill; acid from a car battery onto the metal frame of the car. Why is this?|||Causes damage to your car gradually and will not look good and it will cost a lot! 拢拢拢拢拢拢拢拢拢拢$$$$$$$$$$$$$|||it does slowly cause metal to rust, and affects paint





wash off with plenty of water to neutralise|||It's bad for your car
