Does a block heater prevent a car battery from being dead?

Is a block heater charging a car battery while it is heating a car engine? Or is it warming up a car battery as well as a car engine? Or does it do nothing to a car battery but an engine?

Can I start up a car with dead battery while I am using a block heater, if a block heater is also working for car battery?

I apologize I don't know anything about car mechanics lol.Does a block heater prevent a car battery from being dead?
NO. A block heater keeps the block warm. It has nothing to do with the battery.Does a block heater prevent a car battery from being dead?
A block heater does just that, keeps the engine warm while it's cold out. The battery is a completely separate deal, if your battery is dead from the cold, it's time to replace it unless it's less than a year old. Now they do sell battery blankets that wrap around the battery to warm it up but if your battery is already dead, it's not gonna do you any good to get that. Your best bet is to put your battery on a trickle charger to charge it back to full charge and see if it starts your car, or just jump it off from another vehicle and then take it to a local auto parts store and have it tested. Most likely plan on spending some dough for a new battery tho. They don't last as long as the car does unfortunately. Hope this helps.Does a block heater prevent a car battery from being dead?
A block heater does nothing for the battery except as side issue. A warm engine will take less effort to start, and therefore puts less strain on the battery. It may make a poor battery perform satisfactorily.
ur right,,you do know nothing,,a block heater heats the block,,,either core plug,,heated dipstick or magnetic sump heater,,,does NOTHING for battery,,,
