the easiest way to get an answer to this is do the following: go start you car - pop the hood - take the negative (black) terminal off of your battery. if the car dies: your alternator is dead (the thing that charges your battery). if the car continues to run: your battery is dead. this is the best thing to do and it doesnt cost any money - you just need a 10mm wrench
Could be either!
If you have no tools or experience, ask a friend who does for help, or take the little car to the shop for diagnosis and estimate for the repair.
Happy MotoringCar battery ?
Well, that could be either an alternator (thing that charges the battery) which is not working. Maybe it's gone bad or just has a loose belt. Or it could be that the battery is dead and will no longer accept a charge. The only way you will be able to tell without replacing the battery is to have a mechanic look at it. Either way it shouldn't be too expensive
Stop by your local SEARS Automotive store. Sears will usually check out your battery and/or alternator at no cost to you. They also have the biggest selection of foreign car batteries at about 1/2 the cost of an OEM Toyota battery.Car battery ?
The battery is probably dead. You should get a new one. Car batteries usually die after about seven years in cold climates and fifteen years in warmer climates.
If you have an AUTO ZONE near by they will check your battery for free...
Check your Car Carger for proper settings %26amp; Readings.
If it show the battery is Low you may have to leave it on the charger on a trickle charge overnight.
Check your Connections also and the cables / wireing fron the altinator and the starter and the gound wires.
Look to see how old the batery is by reading the Label on the battery. If it is old get a new battery. if it is now then your altinator is not charging the battery while you drive.
If you can take the care in or the battery checked. The battery could have a bad cell(s) and could the the cause for it not to charge.
